Dear Mister Prime Minister,
It's gondola, not gondula. Anyway, the Pala piste is getting the cannons, Les Marrades is getting the snow canons only next year, the Obelix is getting a facelift and so is the freestyle area. That's official.

hi all, hope the summer is treating you all well
So Vallnord have started the changes to the ski resort in Arinsal ready for the winter so far this is what has happened.
The 2 man green goddess chair from the crest hotel has gone, pylons the lot gone!
Holes are being dug for the new chair and stations.
We think the new chair will terminate next to the gondula at the top! not sure if its a ski on and off lift though
Green stairs have been moved to next to the wall as you leave the gondula at the top, (so now not diagonally in front of you) and dry slope meeting boards have moved. (Hence why we think it will terminate next to gondula)
Freestyle area has a new hut and we believe the works are to start in the park as well (not had a walk up there to look, but will do, gossip at the min)
Not sure if the piste to the crest is being snow cannoned this year, rumours say not, but to happen the following summer But there are a lot of trucks, diggers and earth going up the mountain as the avalache break is now finished, so maybe the piste is being reshaped for the winter and lets hope the cannons go in as well.
so i will keep you all posted as the works progress
