Re:Snow levels 1 Year, 7 Months ago
I want to go to a snowboard trip this year but it seems that I am a bit busy this month. Maybe I could go on next season. I just want to see some snowboarder this time.

According to my colleague Ian who was in Arinsal last week, there has been some snow in the resort but more is needed. The ski area is due to open at the beginning of December and by then it will probably have snowed some more.

But the weather is fickle, so it might not. Either way it is now cold enough for snowmaking and the resort will be able to open within a couple of weeks even if natural snow does not come soon.

As far as powder conditions are concerned - well, fresh powder is everybodys dream, but those days only happen just after a heavy snowfall, so there are usually only a handful of such days in the season. I hope you are lucky in Jan, which is a good month for fresh snowfall usually, but as always it will simply depend on the weather.

The only sure way to enjoy powder days that I know of is to spend the whole season in a ski resort, which is what I do.
