The website that Paul gave you certainly has a large selection of good accommodation. If you prefer a hotel there are plenty available through links on this web page. I spend the whole winter in the Palarine, which is child friendly. The owners have a nine year old son, who likes to play with guest's children about his age. There is a free play station in the reception and a log fire in the bar/lounge. I think the food here is great.
On the down side, we are about 20/25 miutes from the village centre, which is quite a distance for a 8 year old. There is a regular free ski bus mornings and afternoons from just outside the hotel. It does not run at night, so it would make evenings out difficult.
