Well, we've been watching weather forecasts haven't we? The thing is... depending on the forecast you look at you get different opinions.
Yet, on Tue -yesterday, by far most of the forecasts suggested we get snow today. But when we awoke this morning we had blue skies and bright sunshine...
Snow? No chance! some said. Wrong... because how fickle are the mountains...? by lunch it's dark cloud. By 1.30pm it's snowing.

Today we had sunshine and blue skies until midday, then some cloud :-
rather pretty cloud though  !!!
Then this evening whilst waiting for the Torchlight Descent display, the sunset produced this nice image:-
Since the snow last weekend, we have more runs open, some 'off-piste', and more snow forecast.. Life is Good!!

We woke up to another day of snow today, lovely conditions all over the resort at the moment.

Well, today (Saturday 17th Feb) we had a real significant fall of snow.
The resort is quite busy at the moment, the British half-term holidays have brought many families for a weeks holiday this week and we are expecting similar next week.
More snow is forecast for tomorrow, Sunday, so those of you due to arrive in Arinsal may find that there a a few delays once you reach the Pyrenees, although generally transfers are not expected to be affected very much.
